I am a polio survivor with a 26 year career as a medical language specialist. I began oil painting as a hobby, which emerged into a full time career when postpolio syndrome affected my life. My artistic creativity has been focused on the cultural beauty of Native Americans, Rom Gypsies, fantasy art and nature. My paintings depict the beauty and romanticism of nomadic people living life from the earth, making my art unique, while the animals depict either the gentleness or ferocity associated with their nature. I am driven by the desire to create that which flows forth from a higher power.

I share my creativity as a Teaching Artist in Residency with VSA Arts of Florida.

Art is not in order

Well, my art is not in order in my gallery. Should've thought about that when I uploaded it, but, oh well. I'll arrange it sometime later, when I'm finished uploading what I want to upload here. Other than that, so far, so good. Prepping some pieces that will be at ArtSpring in South Pasadena this week. Reception on Thursday, and then a reception at Scarfone Gallery in Tampa on Friday. Been very, very busy, as well as doing the collaborative project with the kids. So.... toodles for now.
